As president, owner and senior creative director, Lauren Ciesa has led CiesaDesign for more than 20 years, growing the firm in size, talent, media expertise and breadth of services.
Lauren believes that all artistic disciplines - including architecture, graphic design, fashion, pop culture and product design - are intricately interrelated in the design process. Effective integration of these disciplines results in simple, functional, timely and aesthetically pleasing solutions that respond to each client's need.
This approach has provided the shared vision that permeates the artistic self-expression of the firm's three creative directors, who work collaboratively in Lauren's unique business model. It has also led to numerous awards as well as local and national acclaim.
Lauren, who earned a BA from Western Michigan University in 1976, is an ardent supporter of the arts, receiving East Lansing's Crystal Award for community service in 1994. He is currently a member of the Lansing Advertising Club, the Old Town Main Street Association design committee, the SCENE Metrospace gallery advisory committee, and the boards of the East Lansing Art Festival and Film Festival.
