One of the three senior creative directors, Chris brings almost 20 years of design experience to CiesaDesign. He believes that good visual communication Engages, Educates and Empowers - his "3 Es." Big-picture thinking and outside-the-box perspective bring freshness and strategic positioning to his award-winning visual solutions, including multimedia and the web.
Chris's branding and re-branding projects set the stage for promotional and web applications, and have led to participation in product development for such firms as DeVilbiss Auto Refinishing and Tekna Spray Guns. Chris's witty posters have created strong identity for many organizations, including the Great Lakes Restoration Conference, the East Lansing Art Festival and Lansing's Chili Cook-Off. He has also developed award winning franchise looks for two favorite area coffee shops, Beaner's and Kaffa House.
A 1991 BFA graduate of Michigan State University, Chris is a member of the AIGA and sits on the boards of SCENE Metrospace gallery and the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum. He is a visiting instructor at MSU and guest lecturer at Lansing Community College. An avid motorcyclist, Chris loves the outdoors, and says he often does his best creative thinking there.
